Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion will make its return to Bristol, Tennessee-Virginia on 8-10 September 2023.
The first artists to be confirmed were alt-country trailblazers, 49 Winchester. Fans will be excited to see the group taking the stage again, following a memorable set at the 2022 festival, considered a special homecoming for the Virginia-hailing band.
Earlier in the year, 49 Winchester released their story-driven, invigorating blend of Southern country rock and folk-inspired impulses, Fortune Favors the Bold, on New West Records. The band's Virginia roots and Appalachian influences make them the ideal addition to the 2023 Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion line-up.
Joining 49 Winchester will be Margo Price, Nickel Creek, Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers and more. More recently, soulful crooner Brent Cobb and Carlene Cash have been confirmed as part of the stellar line-up.
Here, we'll have all the up-to-date news on line-up announcements, the latest ticket and festival pass details, and any further exciting info and details for the 2023 edition.
Also set to perform is Watchhouse, The Mavericks, Allison Russell, Amythyst Kiah, Larkin Poe and Wilderado, with more additions to be announced at a later date.
In a first for Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, VIP packages have been made available. These will provide festival-goers with an ‘elevated experience’ at the September event, with a variety of VIP camping, glamping and hotel options on offer.
The 2023 instalment looks set to be another incredible celebration of Appalachian country music, with the 2022 event featuring roof-raising performances from artists such as Tanya Tucker, Rosanne Cash, The Wood Brothers and more.
