Turnpike Troubadours have become one of the biggest and most ubiquitous exports of the Red Dirt Country sound born and bred in Texas and Oklahoma.

Formed in 2005 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma by Evan Felker and R.C. Edwards, the band currently consists of Felker, Edwards, Kyle Nix, Ryan Engleman, Gabriel Pearson and Hank Early.

The group have recorded six studio albums in their near twenty-year existence; 2007's Bossier City, their now seminal 2010 sophomore effort Diamonds and Gasoline, their best charting album, 2012's Goodbye Normal Street, 2015's self-titled, 2017's A Long Way From Your Heart and 2023's much anticipated A Cat In The Rain.

Taking a two year hiatus in 2019 primarily for chief songwriter and singer Felker to seek sobriety, the group returned in November of 2021, began playing live shows once again in 2022 with a huge show at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, before releasing their aforementioned sixth album on August 25, 2023.

Following two years of bigger and more anticipated shows, the group have announced a US headline show run for 2024, with Wyatt Flores and Sierra Hull in support.
