Hailing from Arizona, Avery Anna has become known for her emotive and intimate songwriting style since first gaining a wave of attention on social media for her bathroom singing videos.
Releasing her debut single, 'Just Cause I Love You,' in 2021, Anna followed up her vulnerable, journal entry songs with standout songs like 'I Love You More' and the viral 'Narcissist,' all of which led to her debut EP, 2022's Mood Swings.
Eventually building to her first full-length record, Breakup Over Breakfast, in 2024, the project showcased Anna's evolution from stripped-back, piano-driven ballads to more rock-leaning anthems, while still maintaining the same emotional depth of her earlier work. With a variety of heartbreaking yet relatable offerings, imparted with equal parts knowing wisdom and sincerity, the debut record included breakthrough songs like 'vanilla,' reflecting on consent and serving as a cautionary tale for her younger sister, as well as 'Make It Look Easy,' 'I Will (When You Do)' with Dylan Marlowe, 'Two Sides Of The Story' and more.
At the turn of 2025, the burgeoning singer-songwriter unveiled her highly-anticipated sophomore record, let go letters. Inspired by letters written by fans about their personal struggles, the project addressed a variety of taboo topics and experiences pertaining to mental health, relationships, suicidal ideation and others.
