Margo Price and Nathaniel Rateliff joined forces to perform ‘Twinkle, Twinkle’ on CMT Crossroads.
The song, which features on Price’s record That’s How Rumours Get Started, has been released as a teaser for what’s to come on the episode of the popular series, which will air tonight (March 26th).
‘Twinkle Twinkle’ is the second video released from their Crossroads pairing. It follows a rendition of Rateliff’s ‘Say It Louder’, a track from his 2018 album with the Night Sweats, Tearing at the Seams.
The pair, accompanied by their bands, stare each other down mid-way through this performance, percussion in hand.
There is a Jimi Hendrix inspired guitar riff and lots of attitude from the pair as Price takes the first verse.
Rateliff and Price taped their CMT Crossroads at the Factory in Franklin, Tennessee, under Covid safety guidelines.
It is the first episode since Kelsea Ballerini and Halsey teamed up last March for the popular show.
