Kane Brown has won the award for Video of the Year at this year's ACM Awards.
Brown was announced as the winner during an interview he was giving on ‘CBS This Morning’.
‘Worldwide Beautiful’ is a song about unity and individual beauty that features on his record ‘Mixtape Volume 1’, which was released last year.
At the time of the video's release, Brown said, “I felt like Alex did a really great job of showing in the video how the adults were blinded through them wearing blindfolds while watching the news (through a TV shop window). That was my take on it: the future of the world is in the kids’ hands”.
The video features his daughter, who was under a year old at the time of filming.
Brown took to social media to thank the fans shortly after the announcement was made this morning.
Brown will be performing at this Sunday’s awards ceremony alongside Chris Young as they play their song ‘Famous Friends’. His album Mixtape Volume 1 is nominated in the Album of the Year category.
