Willie Nelson's 90th Birthday Celebration 2023: Line-Up, Date and Tickets

One of country music's living legends, Willie Nelson, turns 90 in April, and he's invited a star-studded array of artists to help him celebrate the incredible milestone.

Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Tyler Childers and more will all descend on Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on April 29 and April 30 for a slew of eagerly anticipated performances.

Joining them will be the likes of George Strait, Emmylou Harris, Kris Kristofferson, Sturgill Simpson, Charley Crockett, Kacey Musgraves, Sheryl Crow, The Chicks, Orville Peck and more.

The two-day extravaganza, entitled Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90 will pay tribute to Willie's sprawling discography of chart-toppers and iconic anthems, such as ‘Whiskey River’ and ‘On The Road Again’.

Despite approaching such a weighty milestone, Willie is showing no signs of pressing the brakes on his famously prolific creative output.

Earlier this month, the Texan announced that he would be following up 2022's A Beautiful Time with a brand new album, I Don't Know a Thing About Love, which is due to arrive on streaming services on March 3.

Willie also has a new, five-part documentary on his life premiering at Utah's 2023 Sundance Film Festival.

Ahead of his April celebrations, the country legend underlined his excitement at the prospect of such a memorable occasion, “I can’t think of a better way to spend my 90th birthday than being surrounded by family, friends, and of course the fans who made this all possible. It’s an honor to perform with such an incredible group of artists at such an iconic venue”.
