Get ready for more chair-turning, ear-perking, sing-a-long-inducing performances. The Voice is back for its 25th season - and, at least in terms of the number of judges, it's bigger than ever.
The singing competition show is going in search of the next great “Voice” once again. At the helm will be returning coaches Chance the Rapper, John Legend and Reba McEntire, along with the show’s first-ever coaching duo, Dan + Shay. Last season’s Niall Horan and Gwen Stefani will not be seated in the red chairs this time around.
The competition is set to follow its usual format, and over the next couple of months, viewers will watch as dozens of hopefuls traverse the show’s five stages. It all begins with the Blind Auditions, in which the celebrity coaches first build their teams.
With the ability to steal and save singers, each coach’s roster is destined to change along the way. The contestants will then be whittled down throughout the Battle Rounds, the Knockouts stage, the Playoffs and eventually the Live Performance Shows.
A still-to-be-announced Mega Mentor will drop in to guide the competitors in their journey.
Since its inception in 2011, The Voice has helped launch the careers of many, including Nicolle Galyon, RaeLynn, Cassadee Pope and Morgan Wallen. Tune in to see who could be next.
Season 25 premieres Monday, February 26, with episodes being broadcast on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the spring.
