Taylor Swift 2023 The Eras Concert Tour Setlist

It's finally here! To say Taylor Swift's The Eras tour has been hotly anticipated feels like a ridiculously huge understatement.

Ever since she announced the expansive list of dates, Swifties have been desperately clamouring to get tickets and speculating as to which songs she'll be performing out on the road.

Swift has now kicked off the tour, and while many were wondering how she could possibly narrow down a setlist from her seemingly innumerable supply of hit songs, it seems she's gone for the approach of both quantity and quality, with 44 blockbuster songs packed into every show.

Staying true to the name of the tour, each of Swift's performances is separated into ‘eras’ from her discography.

The megastar opens with a handful of tracks from her Lover album, before taking attendees back to her much-loved Fearless project from 2008, playing fan-favourites such as ‘You Belong With Me’ and the iconic ‘Love Story’.

To celebrate the start of the new tour, Taylor Swift treated fans to four unreleased songs, including ‘Eyes Open (Taylor's Version)’ and ‘All Of The Girls You Loved Before’.

Although she's not been performing these live, they've still served as the perfect pre-show warm-up for many ticket-holders, as they prepare for the unforgettable experience of seeing Taylor Swift in concert.

The eras covered in Swift's shows include her widely celebrated 1989 album, along with Red, Reputation and her most recent release, Midnights, the latter of which acts as the finale for each performance.

So far, the 44-song setlists have been lapped up by fans, who are appreciating the chance to revisit older material from Swift's unrivalled arsenal of chart-toppers.

Highlights from the Pennsylvania native's performances include Swift's live renditions of ‘You Need To Calm Down’, ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ and ‘Shake It Off’.

With so many songs to choose from, and a number of fan-favourites not making the cut, such as ‘Tim McGraw’ and ‘No Body, No Crime’, it'll be interesting to see whether Taylor Swift tweaks the setlist at all as she continues her tour.

It seems she's been using the acoustic section of her shows as a chance to switch up the song choices, with Taylor Swift stripping away the energising lights and the breathtaking choreography for a couple of captivating performances alongside nothing more than a piano and guitar - reminding fans of the unique magic of Swift's songwriting.

At Taylor Swift's March 25 show in Las Vegas, she brought out Marcus Mumford as a special guest to perform ‘Cowboy Like Me’. Attendees will be wondering which other artists Taylor will have up her sleeve for future shows.

During her first May show at Nashville's Nissan Stadium, Taylor confirmed fans’ suspicions that she was readying a new project by announcing Speak Now (Taylor's Version). The latest re-recorded album is set to be released on July 7.

On June 3, Taylor provided another unexpected treat when she invited Maren Morris on-stage for a live debut of their Fearless (Taylor's Version) collaboration, ‘You All Over Me’.

During her two-night weekend in Cincinnati, Ohio in June 30 and July 1, Taylor had plenty of special moments in store during the infamous surprise song section. On night 1, she went all the back to debut era with 'I'm Only Me When I'm With You' and treated fans to a chilling piano version of 'evermore.'

On night two, after starting an hour early due to weather concerns, Swift brought out familiar face Aaron Dessner for 'Ivy,' as well as supporting act Gracie Abrams to sing her song 'I miss you, I'm sorry.' She closed the section with a surprise third song from Reputation in the form of 'Call It What You Want.'
