A wealth of exciting new acts have been announced for 2023's Black Deer Festival.
The event, which takes place in Kent from the 16th - 18th of June in Eridge Park in Kent, England, is welcoming 70s rock legends The Pretenders to headline the festival, alongside the already announced Bonnie Raitt and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
Joining the band are Bear's Den, Midlake, Americana icon Steve Earle, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Lukes Nelson & Promise Of The Real and Kelly Jones of Stereophonics' new group, Far From Saints.
Steve Earle spent most of 2022 celebrating the life and work of his friend Jerry Jeff Walker, releasing his covers album JERRY JEFF with his band, The Dukes.
While currently doing a stretch on the Outlaw Country Cruise in February, Earle heads back across the Atlantic for a slew of European dates, all before his much-anticipated set at Black Deer in June.
The rest of the newly announced wave of acts reads like a who's who of Americana's finest, including This Is The Kit, Bonny Light Horseman, Joanne Shaw Taylor, CMAT, Drake White, Katherine Priddy, Tami Neilson, Angeline Morrison, Simeon Hammond Dallas, Willi Carlisle, Melissa Carper, Dylan LeBlanc, Sleep Walking Animals, Bonnie Montgomery and Luke Elliot.
The final Tier 1 Day & Weekend tickets are on sale now, with Fancy and Pre-Ptiched Camping also available to purchase.
