Florida Georgia Line has just announced their 12-stop 2027 Festival Tour. An announcement post via socials that has 11 of the 12 events blurred out, with Stagecoach listed at number four being the sole stand-out, it's only a matter of time until the 2010s country chart soarers announce more locations for their festival tour run.
Through a 12-stop festival tour, FGL will give fans the chance to reminisce on country records of an era so specific to a generation, and even more specific to Hubbard and Kelley's classic beach-party sound.
Upon teasing their reunion in recent months, the iconic duo is embarking on their time together in a way that feels best for Tyler Hubbard and Bryan Kelley to ease themselves back into the country music scene as a duo.
As of right now, the 'Cruise' crooners only confirmed stop on their reunion festival tour is Stagecoach 2027. One of the biggest and most reputable country music festivals in the U.S., FGL will appear at Stagecoach's "Late Night at Mustang Stage," performing shortly after acts such as Garth Brooks, Riley Green, and Zach Top.
For many, FGL needs no introduction. If you're like us, your earliest memories of the duo include bopping along to 'Anything Goes' and 'Sippin On Fire' in a time where the idea of a hiatus for the two seemed unfathomable. This being said, the country music scene has changed since the two split up, and we now live in an era where individualism gets the golden ticket to stardom in real time. With popularity for the genre soaring in the new decade, it may be necessary for the two to re-introduce themselves.
Which is why playing at 2027's biggest festivals seems totally logical for Hubbard and Kelley to reestablish themselves as a duo - it's here that the two will be able to get their foot back in the door as they rediscover the essence of themselves as a duo, get used to playing together again, and undoubtedly gain some new fans.
Of course, we won't know what other festivals Hubbard and Kelley have up their sleeves until it's time for the two to make that announcement - which will ultimately result in a regular Ticketmaster war we're more than ready for. In the midst of the excitement surrounding their festival tour, fans have also been pining for an official headlining FGL tour announcement. Until these things come to fruition though, we do have a few ideas of where the duo may have their sights set in 2027.
1. Tortuga 2027
The iconic Tortuga festival happens in the late months of Spring every year right out of South Florida. The festival promotes good music, good times, and good efforts through their mission to promote ocean conservation and environmental awareness.
Given FGL's beach-party adjacent sound, persona, and track record, Tortuga seems like the perfect fit for the duo. In the second stretch of blurred out lines on their announcement post, it almost appears as though the 'U' in Tortuga is clear, practically begging for speculation. That said, Tortuga announces their annual lineup in the late fall months of the year, several months out from their edge-of-summer weekend dates. So, if Tortuga is in the cards for the duo, we'll be finding out about it relatively soon.
Any festival that the duo appears at in 2027 would have to be booked and planned far ahead, which gives perspective into how calculated Hubbard and Kelley's return as FGL truly is. Tyler Hubbard, whose no stranger to the festival, also appeared as a supporting act for the event's 2026 roundup, where he performed an array of hits which included FGL's 'Cruise.'
2. CMA Fest 2027
The reputable CMA Fest is famous for booking a plethora of some of the biggest acts in country music. Happening in the heart of Nashville, CMA Fest is home to some of country's biggest stars, and as of summer, the landmark to FGL's return as the duo.
Aside from the short, blurred line which we're totally convinced belongs to Tortuga, the one line of the post that features an unknown festival of a shorter name appears just two spots before the last festival line.
First teasing their reunion at CMA Fest in June of this year, it would truly be a full circle moment for the duo if they could return to the Music City stadium in all the glory of being officially back.
3. Sauble Beach Party 2027
The Ontario-based multi-genre music festival's official Instagram account left a comment on FGL's post which simply says "Sauble" with a fire emoji and hands up emoji.
While a theorized FGL appearance at the festival may seem like a bit of a stretch, and we don't know for sure if the duo will be touring outside of the U.S. in 2027, the comment alone is reason enough to believe the duo may be making a Canada appearance - and, given FGL's tendency to bridge into various sounds, and Sauble's relation to promoting those sounds, it wouldn't be a complete shot in the dark to predict their attendance at the 2027 festival.
