‘Pretty Heart’ chart-topper, Parker McCollum, has been unveiled as the latest addition to Barefoot Country Music Fest 2023. The event will be taking place on June 15-18 at the sunny, beachside setting of Wildwood, New Jersey.
McCollum joins the already revealed trio of Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker and Kid Rock. The 30-year-old recently finished a behemoth of a tour with Thomas Rhett, which saw him playing to packed-out crowds across the country.
His Barefoot Country Music Fest inclusion follows McCollum's 2023 summer tour announcement, during which he will perform at a range of venues in Texas, New York, Alabama and more.
Aside from his busy touring schedule, it's been a relatively quiet 2022 for McCollum so far, with his only original release being the whiskey-soaked single, ‘Handle On You’.
He also put out a cover of ‘Carrying Your Love With Me’, a classic anthem by McCollum's Texan idol, George Strait.
This looks set to change, however, with McCollum lining up a new single, ‘Stoned’, to be released on December 2.
Barefoot Country Music Fest 2023 is already shaping up to be another popular occasion, following 2022's successful instalment, which featured performances from a range of heavy-hitters, such as Cole Swindell, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and more.
