Luck Reunion is inherently unique. Tucked in the hills above Austin, the Reunion is held on Willie Nelson’s ranch among the remnants of the set featured in Red Headed Stranger.
Year after year, the event provides a truly special experience and this year is no different.
Having been pushed back a day due to the unpredictable nature of Texas’ storms, this year’s reunion has seen some last-minute lineup changes.
The removal of Guster and Ethel Cain has been countered by the addition of an intimate set with Margo Price.
Spanning five stages, including the infamous chapel, you are guaranteed to experience an incredibly intimate performance with each of the acts.
After a peek at the set times, there isn’t a single stage that doesn’t pack its own solid line-up. Personally, we can’t wait to see a few new artists and a lot of old favorites.
Luck Reunion is truly an experience. With as much to see and do through their various curated shops and tastings as the musical offerings it serves.
There will be on-site screen printing, a Jack Daniels tasting, and other vendors providing custom food, drinks, and services for the day.
Spend the day roaming the ranch and you may bump into one of the artists you had on your itinerary.
It’s too late to get your tickets for this year’s event but with any chance, you’ll be able to secure your place in 2024. Check back in this weekend for our recap of the day.
Check out the five acts we're most looking forward to seeing below and we'll see you at the ranch!
Led by Beau Bedford and Robert Ellis, Luck will pay homage to the iconic songwriter and musician who influenced so many of those that grace the bill at the festival this year.
With a plethora of special guests set to join them in playing through some of the finest gems in Russell's catalogue, including Margo Price, Sierra Ferrell, The War and Treaty and many more, it's going to be one of those moments you want to be in witness of.
Hailing from the great desolate southern plains of Texas, Rattlesnake Milk have a sound that draws its influence from surf pop to psychedelic rock and cowpunk, vintage country to skeletal blues and grunge.
Their recent album, Chicken Fried Snake, is a jangly, cinematic soundscape, one that we can only imagine is totally encapsulating live.
With the announcement that her brand new album, Among Other Things, is set for release in April, this is your best opportunity to catch Bella White before everything becomes stratospheric for her.
Bringing her contemporary catchy alt-country to the Saloon Stage, Bella's the perfect person to start the day with - you can have a little boogie with your partner to 'Break My Heart' while your other buddy stands in the corner crying at the beautiful realisation of it all.
You'll find it pretty hard this year to find a top-quality festival bill that doesn't boast of presenting the wonderful showcase that is the Black Opry Revue.
Setting up an intimate songwriter's round at the Revival Stage, the set will feature Sug Daniels, Holler's Americanafest favourite Aaron Vance, Nikki Morgan and Nicky Diamonds.
Let's be honest, Willie's who we're all making the trip for, right? Topping off the bill each year gives us the perfect opportunity to see the man himself at home and in his absolute element.
Backed by the whole Nelson contingent and thousands of his disciples, it'll be a celebration of family, community and the influence Shotgun has had on music and culture as a whole for the last seventy years.
With Willie's 90th birthday party only a month away, they may even start the celebrations early on the Luck Ranch, for all of us who are lucky to be in attendance.
