With the promise of fall looming amidst the unbearable end of summer heat in Nashville, our eyes turn away from the exciting slate of country festivals all around the country and firmly fix on the four walls of the revered Grand Ole Opry House.
After celebrating spectacular appearances and debuts from the likes of Post Malone, Evan Honer, The Castellows and more throughout the month of August, September is gearing up for more of the same.
Country music's longest-running tradition is set to welcome a swath of new faces throughout the month, including Vincent Mason on Sept. 7th, Tucker Wetmore on Sept. 10th and a 2-for-1 special on Sept. 21st when rising Americana darling Noeline Hoffman and female supergroup Wonder Women of Country both take the stage for the first time.
In a special two-night, doubleheader appearance, attendees will get an additional special treat on Sept. 6th and 7th as Grammy-winning entertainer Carrie Underwood makes appearances alongside a cast of Gary Mule Deer, Jenna Paulette, Kelly Willis, Kassi Ashton, Ashley McBryde and more.
Throughout the month, audiences will be able to see fresh acts like Dasha, Flatland Cavalry, Pony Bradshaw, Mae Estes, Bryce Leatherwood and more. Similarly, the Opry will showcase some of the genre's best and brightest, including Ashley McBryde, Jamey Johnson, Midland, Silverada, Trace Adkins and others.
The Opry's celebrated stalwarts will also be on hand throughout various shows, including The Isaacs, Riders In The Sky, Connie Smith, Dailey & Vincent, Bill Anderson, Jeannie Seely, Mandy Barnett and others.
Besides the always wonderful traditional Grand Ole Opry shows, the hallowed venue will also play host to a few additional shows during September, including the second annual People's Choice Country Awards on Sept. 26th and a stop on Steve Martin & Martin Short's The Dukes of Funnytown! tour on Sept. 19th.
