Due to overwhelming demand, George Strait is performing two extra dates at the Moody Center in Austin Texas. This time, he’s bringing along ACM Album of the Year nominee, Carter Faith, to open the show for both Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th.
We can assume that Strait’s setlist will largely reflect what he played when he was last at Moody Center in April 2026, so fans can expect the classics like ‘Check Yes Or No’, ‘Amarillo By Morning’ and ‘Give It Away’ for sure. A couple of movers and shakers including his more recent single ‘Three Drinks Behind’ and old favourite ‘Heartland’. You can bet that the 15,000 fans will be singing (shouting) the encore ‘All My Ex’s Live In Texas’, rounding off his monumental four-night run in Austin.
Early merch will be available outside of the Moody Center from 4.30pm on Friday and 3.30pm on Saturday. Grab yourself some of The King’s incredible merchandise to commemorate an unforgettable night.
Moody Center has issued significant travel updates for the weekend. Most roads surrounding the venue will be closed, and standard routes will not be available. This includes Manor Garage, but parking can be reserved via the Moody Center website. This is due to other events at the Mike A Myers stadium and nearby on the University of Texas Campus.
The ride share will be temporarily relocated to Lot 118 which is south of the MLK Jr Blvd and Red River St. Intersection. The ADA drop-off/pick-up has also temporarily moved to the corner of Robert Dedman Dr and 20th St.
It is paramount that attendees leave early and allow plenty of time for travel as delays are likely.
Moody Center operates a clear bag policy no bigger than 14” x 14” x 6” or a clutch that is smaller than 5” x 9” x 1.5”. More information available here.
Even though all his ex’s live in Texas, his Texan fans are showing up in their thousands for another two stellar nights. Grab a last minute ticket if you can, just make sure they are from official resale sites.
