CMT Campfire Sessions Christmas Edition: Date and Performances

Some would argue that there's only one thing better than country music - country music at Christmas.

CMT has revealed the line-up for its festive, hot chocolate-fuelled celebration of country music, with Jon Pardi, Brandy Clark and more high-profile artists set to perform.

Throughout the year, CMT has curated a star-studded array of artists to take part in its stripped-back, cozy series of acoustic performances by the campfire.

So far, viewers have been treated to CMT Campfire Sessions from the likes of Lainey Wilson, Scotty McCreery and Little Big Town.

On December 21, CMT will be airing a special Christmas edition of its Campfire Sessions, which will feature intimate sets from Jon Pardi, Tracy Lawrence, Brandy Clark and more.

Lily Rose, who was recently named one of CMT's Next Women of Country 2022, will also be performing.

Completing the big-name line-up is Clay Walker, Old Crow Medicine Show and Restless Road, all of whom will be serenading fans with their favourite Christmas songs.

Scotty McCreery and Elle King have already played some Christmas classics as part of their own CMT Campfire Sessions, which will have whetted fans' appetites for the full Christmas special later in December.

If there are any country music fans that still aren't in the Christmas spirit by the time December 21 rolls around, CMT's roster of artists will no doubt instil some festive warmth through their acoustic fire-side performances.

An encore showing of CMT's Campfire Sessions: Christmas Edition will air on Christmas Day at 7a/6c.
