Carly Pearce's ‘29: Written In Stone (Live From Music City)’ concert will premiere this Saturday, May 20 on CMT.

The hour-long TV special has been created to accompany the live album of the same name, which Pearce released in March.

The CMT programme will feature highlights from the intimate concert, recorded in Nashville, including Pearce's Grammy-winning duet with Ashley McBryde, ‘Never Wanted To Be That Girl’.

In total, the CMT special will comprise nine performances, all of which appear on Carly Pearce's 29: Written In Stone (Live From Music City) album, with the likes of Lee Brice and Jenee Fleenor also joining the Kentucky chart-topper on-stage.

The news comes as Pearce begins to turn her gaze towards her next era of music, with the singer-songwriter excitingly teasing a new project in a handful of recent interviews.

Carly Pearce released the studio version of 29: Written in Stone in 2021, before following up with the live version two years later. The project has produced a slew of fan-favourites, including ‘Easy Going’, ‘Diamondback’ and her latest No. 1 single, ‘What He Didn't Do’.

Earlier in the month, viewers were able to get a preview of what to expect from Pearce's live performances during the CMT concert special, as she took the stage at the 2023 ACM Awards for a blockbuster collaboration with Trisha Yearwood. Carly Pearce also delivered a rousing live rendition of ‘What He Didn't Do’ and a special joint performance with Gwen Stefani at the 2023 CMT Awards in April.

After supporting Blake Shelton on his hugely popular tour at the start of 2023, Carly Pearce is now preparing to embark on a headlining run of shows throughout the summer, which will take her across Pennsylvania, Delaware, California and more.
