After months of grainy, atmospheric photos of dart boards and pool tables accompanied by the caption ‘The Great American Bar Scene’, Zach Bryan has now confirmed fans’ suspicions by revealing this will be the name of his hotly anticipated new album.
The ‘Something in the Orange’ singer-songwriter has taken to Instagram to reveal the title, which was accompanied by a new snippet of the previously teased unreleased song, ‘28’.
In the caption, Zach Bryan expressed his contentment at the opportunity to get to do this for a living, “The record is called The Great American Bar Scene and I feel lucky to be breathin’”.
Zach Bryan has been performing the title-track from the forthcoming project as part of his 2024 setlist, with the new album also expected to feature fan-favourite unreleased tracks such as ‘Like Ida’, ‘Sandpaper’, ‘God is a Funny Man’ and more.
We're still waiting on a release date, but with the frequency of snippets, teasers and demos increasing with each passing week, it seems Zach Bryan's rollout is picking up pace.
After unveiling the title, we're hoping the folk-leaning country megastar decides to treat us to the lead single from The Great American Bar Scene in the next month or so.
Given the fact that Zach Bryan has another week until his resumes his hugely popular 2024 Quittin’ Time tour in Des Moines, Iowa on April 25th, perhaps he'll be spending the next few days honing the new album. The ‘28’ snippet he shared alongside the album title certainly feels more mixed and mastered than other teasers he's been uploading of late, so it seems the project is - excitingly - nearing completion.
