Zach Bryan surprised his packed-out Nissan Stadium crowd in Nashville by bringing out Kacey Musgraves for a stunning rendition of their chart-topping hit, ‘I Remember Everything’.

As is the case on the recorded version, which appeared on Zach Bryan's widely lauded self-titled album last year, Zach and Kacey's voices blended seamlessly during their unexpected live performance this weekend for a beautifully intricate duet.

‘I Remember Everything’ surged to the peak of the Billboard Hot 100 in September 2023, marking the first time either artist had reached the pinnacle of the all-genre chart.

It's not the first time, however, that Kacey has joined Zach on-stage to perform the much-loved collaboration, which - to fans’ chagrin - does not always make it into the Oklahoma native's setlist. During his opening Quittin’ Time tour-stop in Chicago in March, the duo teamed up for a spectacular live take on ’I Remember Everything’.

Their Nashville link-up served as one of the many highlights of the show, with Zach Bryan rattling through his dizzying array of fan-favourites, from ‘Open the Gate’, ‘Nine Ball’ and ‘Hey Driver’ to ’Oklahoma Smokeshow’, ‘Something in the Orange’ and ‘Condemned’.

Zach also delivered a rousing performance of his unreleased track, ‘Wet, Hot, American Nights’, which he debuted in Boston last week. The anthemic tune is set to appear on the Oklahoma singer-songwriter's hotly anticipated new album, The Great American Bar Scene, which is due to arrive everywhere this Thursday (July 4th).

Interestingly, Zach Bryan also chose to include ‘If She Wants a Cowboy’ in his Nashville setlist. The playful track, which featured on 2022's American Heartbreak, is a tongue-in-cheek dig at Nashville's mainstream country music scene, with Zach even employing Auto-Tune for the only time in his career towards the end of the song as a thinly veiled criticism of its somewhat secretive use in Music City.

The crowd welcomed its inclusion with open arms, though, with the audience greeting his lyric “If she wants Nashville, I'll ‘Nashville’ the best” with a sea of screams and cheers.
