During a performance Texas earlier in April, Braxton Keith suddenly stopped the show after he had to dodge beer cans that were being thrown at the stage. Telling fans that, “this isn't a goddamn Gavin Adcock show,” Keith posted the clip to social media, reiterating that the fans showed “poor concert etiquette” that night.
The clip inadvertently started a back and forth between Adcock and Keith, with Adcock responding, “it sure ain’t” alongside a promo reel of his rowdy, raucous shows.
With Braxton Keith billed to support Gavin Adcock on his upcoming tour, fans were curious if the boys were play-fighting, or if there really was a new country music rivalry.
Now, it seems, the pair have squashed any concerns after they stopped by the iconic Losers in Nashville for a few drinks.
Keith and Adcock were seen doing shots at the bar, as well as sharing a couple of beers and posting it on Instagram to let everyone know that it was all water under the bridge. Playing up to the statements they’d both made, Keith posted the picture with a caption, ‘This ain’t a Gavin Adcock concert,’ and Adcock shared with his caption, ‘Welcome to the big leagues’.
Tongue in cheek, the pair seem to be country brothers once more, with fans now keen for them to bring out a drinking song together…now that’s a track we’d like to hear.
