Dwight Yoakam and Post Malone have shared the official music video for their blockbuster collaboration, ‘I Don't Know How To Say Goodbye (Bang Bang Boom Boom)’.

As as well as Yoakam and Posty, the newly unveiled playful, retro-inspired set of visuals features Vampire Diaries and The Out-Laws icon, Nina Dobrev, and The Heartbreak Kid and 27 Dresses star, Malin Akerman, who play the artists’ respective love interests.

The video follows hot on the heels of the arrival of ‘I Don't Know How To Say Goodbye (Bang Bang Boom Boom)’, which serves as the lead single from Dwight Yoakam's forthcoming studio album, Brighter Days. The record drops on November 15th.

In the visuals for the infectious, traditional-leaning twanger, Dwight Yoakam and Post Malone take turns surprising their exes in a hotel elevator, before they ride their horses alongside their old flames’ taxis, as they desperately attempt to avoid having to bid farewell for good. The Gregory Alosio-directed clip hilariously ends with Yoakam and Posty admitting defeat, and casually taking their horses along Hollywood's Sunset Strip as they don a pair of bold, bedazzled Western jackets.

The duo, who have been friends for years now, were spotted filming the new music video for ‘I Don't Know How To Say Goodbye (Bang Bang Boom Boom)’ towards the end of August.

Alongside ‘I Don't Know How To Say Goodbye (Bang Bang Boom Boom)’, Dwight Yoakam's new album - his first in almost a decade - will feature never-heard-before offerings such as ‘Wide Open Heart’, ‘I’ll Pay The Price’, ‘California Sky’ and more.
