Twinnie has continued her prolific streak of releases by dropping her infectious new single, ‘Woah Man’, in the lead-up to International Women's Day 2025 (Saturday, March 8th).
The uptempo, empowering offering finds the ‘Hypothetically’ singer-songwriter doubling on the energising, pop-infused sound she's honed in recent years, with ‘Woah Man’ finding Twinnie serving up an irresistible play on words throughout the track.
When announcing ‘Woah Man’ via socials earlier in the month, Twinnie outlined how she hoped it would blossom into a battle-cry for women ahead of International Women's Day, describing it as a “special one for all my ladies out there for international women’s day...The sound is already up on tiktok, looking to colab with as many ladies on this one. If you have your own business, your a stay at home mum, chasing your dream. This is my anthem for you!! Let me know what you think ❤️”.
It's not the first time Twinnie has sought to raise up her fellow female creatives, with the former Hollyoaks star founding the I Know a Woman collective in 2021 - and releasing a song with the same name - designed to open doors for women in the industry.
It follows the arrival of ‘Worst Kind of Crush’ in February, with Twinnie continuing the momentum from her widely lauded 2024 studio album, Something We Used to Say.
The UK hitmaker has established herself as one of the nation's leading figures in the country music space, which has traditionally been dominated by those on the other side of The Pond.
Fans who have secured tickets to Twinnie's 2025 Happy Hour UK and Ireland Tour, presented by JOY. Concerts and Holler Live, which features shows in Brighton, London, Birmingham and many more, will be keenly looking forward to hearing the ‘Dance with Somebody Else’ crooner serenading them with ‘Woah Man’ this June.
