Tucker Wetmore has scored his first No. 1 at US Country Radio, with his viral earworm, ‘Wind Up Missin‘ You’, taking the coveted top spot in Mediabase's latest tracking period.

This feat is particularly impressive, given the fact that this sweet, lovestruck offering was only the second song Wetmore ever released, following ‘Wine Into Whiskey’ in February 2024.

This latest achievement continues the Washington native's meteoric rise over the past twelve months, with Tucker Wetmore now undoubtedly consolidating his status as one of Nashville's ‘next-big-things’ as he readies his highly anticipated debut album.

Tucker Wetmore is embarking on his Waves on a Sunset tour in 2025, with the country prodigy set to tick another first off his bucket list as he completes his debut European run of shows in March. Wetmore will be performing at the UK's C2C Festival 2025, as well as delivering keenly awaited sets in the Netherlands and at C2C Berlin 2025.

In taking the top spot, Tucker Wetmore's ‘Wind Up Missin’ You’ displaces Koe Wetzel and Jessie Murph's angsty break-up anthem, ‘High Road’, which hit No. 1 shortly before Christmas.

Slotting in at No. 3 is Morgan Wallen's breezy, Latin-leaning hit, ‘Love Somebody’, which is the leading candidate to become the next No. 1 on the Mediabase Country Chart.

Completing the current Mediabase Country Top Five is Dylan Marlowe and Dylan Scott's ’Boys Back Home’ and George Birge's ’Cowboy Songs’. The latter reached the pinnacle of the ranking back in mid-December, while Marlowe is vying for his first chart-topper as the lead artist, having already earned a prestigious No. 1 as a songwriter alongside Jimi Bell and Joe Fox in 2022 with Jon Pardi's ‘Last Night Lonely’.
