Tucker Wetmore and Vincent Mason have invited Jacob Hackworth to make his Grand Ole Opry debut on December 4th, 2026.

Less than half an hour before he took the stage to open for Tucker Wetmore at Red Rocks on October 27th, Hackworth was recruited for something very important.

Luring Hackworth under false pretenses of filming liners, Wetmore and Mason dropped in their prestigious invitation.

Whilst Wetmore fumbled his lines for tickets to a fake show on December 4th, the guys opted for a re-take, where Hackworth was given his official invitation.

“And on December 4th, something very special’s happening,” Mason teed it up before Wetmore sent it home.

“Jacob Hackworth will officially be making his Grand Ole Opry debut”.

Hackworth falls about laughing, thinking the boys have pranked him with a silly script, but they remain dead serious and the penny eventually drops.

Hackworth shared his invitation video on his socials, captioning it beautifully.

“This past year has been absolutely insane,” he wrote. “I signed my first record deal, have a song at country radio, and have toured all over the country playing shows. Then, 20 minutes before I went on at Red Rocks last week, I found out I’ll be making my Grand Ole Opry debut on December 4th! Hell of a way to end a year like this, and I still can’t believe it.”

“First and foremost, I thank God for all of this. None of it would be possible without Him. Thank you to @tuckerwetmore and @vincentmason for making this so special, and thank you to my team and everyone who has supported me along the way. I’m beyond grateful! I’ll see y’all at the Opry!”

Hackworth is a well known songwriter in Nashville circles, having penned hugely successful hits like Morgan Wallen's 'Jack and Jill', Bailey Zimmerman's 'Rock And A Hard Place' and the RIAA Gold certified 'This Heart' By Corey Kent.

In 2025, he started to release his own music independently, before signing his record deal with MCA Nashville in March 2026. He's since spent most of the year opening for friend, Tucker Wetmore, on his The Brunette World Tour, whilst releasing singles from his EP, What Took You So Long that he finally released in October this year.

Speaking about Hackworth, Tucker said, "“He’s one of the best people I’ve ever met and he deserves all of it". Mason echoed Wetmore's sentiment, he also added, "“As soon as you meet him, he becomes one of your favourite people in the whole world”.

Hackworth will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on Friday, December 4th, 2026. Tickets are on sale now and can be bought here.
