Country music's favorite family man is back with a new album, dubbed About a Woman, about, well, a woman: his wife Lauren.

Rhett has put his love – quite literally – into this upcoming release and took to social media to share the new music news with his fans, writing in a post: "I’ve been working on this since last April and I can’t wait for y’all to hear it. I genuinely think this will be y’all’s favorite record of mine. 14 tracks that put a smile on my face - I hope they will do the same for you."

When the artist first teased the album's lead single 'Beautiful As You' back in early May, he again reiterated his love for this fresh batch of songs, describing them as some of his favorite music to date.

“From top to bottom, I wanted to exude joy and fun with this project – and really just make people move,” Rhett shares today (June 5) upon the announcement of the forthcoming release, detailing, “I went into making this record with a fearless attitude, put my blinders on and my head down to try and make really fun music."

What has resulted is a 14-track collection of up-tempo soon-to-be hits, all brimming with movement, rhythm and a renewed excitement. Of the album, Rhett adds: “I feel like if you were to ask me what this record is about, the answer would be it’s about one woman, my wife, and it gave me an opportunity to say ‘I love you’ in a lot of different ways.”

The artist will showcase the album's next single 'Gone Country' this Friday (June 7).
