After a little speculation, Thomas Rhett and Teddy Swims have officially revealed a new partnership. The pair have retooled one of Rhett's recent hits, 'Somethin' 'Bout A Woman'.
It's a collaboration we never knew we needed, one we'll be getting sooner rather than later.
Earlier this month, Swims took to social media to share a video of the two vocalists singing the song from Rhett's recently released album, About a Woman. In the reel, the duo give a soulful spin to the already swoon-worthy opus.
"Been a long time coming…" was all the caption read then.
Now, Swims has taken to his platform once again to reveal that the sultry duet will officially be ours this Friday (Nov. 15).
The pair will also team up on the CMA Awards stage, sharing the results of their collaboration during the ceremony, which airs live on Nov. 20.
Their impending release isn't the first time the pair have joined forces. In 2020, the R&B powerhouse tapped the country star for his anthem, 'Broke'. Even more recently, the two Georgia natives had a hand in co-penning Rhett's 2023 ballad, 'Angels (Don't Always Have Wings)'.
Perhaps this new take on 'Somethin' 'Bout A Woman' will lead to even more collaborations from the hit-making duo.
