Lauren Watkins has uploaded a beautifully stripped-back, intricate take on one of the many underrated tracks from Morgan Wallen's sprawling 2023 album, One Thing At A Time.

Lauren Watkins, who is signed to the same label as Morgan Wallen, Big Loud, has delivered a moving tribute to ‘Me + All Your Reasons’, with the country prodigy's distinctive, charismatic vocals gliding across the sparse, delicate strum of the acoustic guitar.

Compared to the built-out production and defiant tone of Morgan Wallen's original, Lauren Watkins’ cover injects a newfound sense of vulnerability and intimacy into ‘Me + All Your Reasons’. It serves as a welcome reminder of Watkins’ impressive dexterity and versatility when it comes to covering fellow artists’ tracks.

Before being signed to Big Loud, the ‘Mama, I Made It’ singer-songwriter began amassing a burgeoning online following courtesy of her stellar covers, with Lauren Watkins sharing captivating renditions of songs such as ERNEST's ‘Miss That Girl’.

The fact that the Nashville native has chosen to cover a Morgan Wallen song feels like a full-circle moment. Before Lauren Watkins had started building a buzz around her popular social media covers, the country music world was introduced to her enchanting vocals when a video surfaced of her singing ‘Picture’ with Morgan Wallen at the Neal Agency Christmas Party back in December 2022.

Then, throughout 2023 and 2024, Lauren Watkins opened on a number of Morgan Wallen's One Night At A Time tour-dates, including his momentous debut European run last Fall.

We're still yet to see a collaboration emerge between the two Tennessee crooners, but judging by how evocative and compelling Lauren Watkins’ new ‘Me + All Your Reasons’ cover is, we have no doubt that a link-up between the two would sound incredible.
