Dierks Bentley will return with his 11th studio album, Broken Branches, on June 13th, with this marking the ‘Drunk On A Plane’ hitmaker first solo record since 2023's Gravel & Gold.
The highly anticipated project will feature collaborations with a host of big-name acts, including Riley Green, Miranda Lambert, John Anderson and Stephen Wilson Jr.
The latter appears on the already-released ‘Cold Beer Can’, while Riley Green and John Anderson join Dierks Bentley for the title-track. Miranda Lambert teams up with Bentley for ‘Never You’, which is expected to arrive with the full project on June 13th.
Speaking ahead of the album announcement, Dierks Bentley has explained what inspired him to celebrate life's imperfections through this next chapter, “The country music community has a lot of broken branches in it. That’s why we’re all here. We want to do something a little bit different, and I think everyone sees themselves like that – certainly in country. This is the people’s music and it represents that spirit of individuality so well – it’s just about doing it our own way”.
The ‘Beers On Me’ chart-topper reflected on the creative process behind this new project, “I think that’s what’s special about country – we’re still making music in the studio with our buddies. We’re still getting together and talking about the songs and letting the musicians have a big say. It’s a good team - maybe a little messed up - but that’s the whole idea behind broken branches, so it just works”.
Featuring contributions from Dierks Bentley's long-time friends and collaborators, such as Charlie Worsham, as well as Jedd Hughes, Rob McNelley and Bryan Sutton, Broken Branches will include the much-loved lead single, ‘She Hates Me’.
