Maoli, Josh Tatofi and more feature on the new Moana: Voices Across The Ocean album, which has been curated by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, his wife Lauren Hashian, Kayla Fa'amaligi and Tiana Nonosina Liufau. The project is inspired by the new Moana live action film, which was released worldwide on July 10th, 2026.

The project sees 25 Pacific artists contributing a genre-blurring array of offerings honouring Moana, including Johnson himself, along with Fatai, Sammy Johnson, Dinah Jane, Spawnbreezie, Tenelle, Becca Hatch, Donell Lewis and more.

Maoli delivers one of the stand-out songs, ‘Golden Days’, with the uplifting, reggae-infused track serving as a wonderful showcase of the artist's unique Island Country sound.

Fellow Hawaiian singer-songwriter, Josh Tatofi, teams up with Keilana for an evocative duet, ‘Two Of Us’, another undoubted gem on this vibrant, eclectic collection of songs.

Ever since the first film came out, Moana has cemented itself as one of the most beloved jewels in Disney's crown. Following the hugely popular sequel, Disney released the live-action remake of the first movie, starring Catherine Laga'aia and Johnson.

Maoli's track in particular has us counting down the days until the ‘Last Sip of Summer’ hitmaker's new album, MMO3, which will see him blending country and reggae once again.
