As their star only rises, The Red Clay Strays are making sure they're well-equipped for such altitudes as the Mobile, Alabama-formed fivesome recently inked a major label deal with RCA.

"We’re super excited to announce that we have signed with RCA Records," the band announced in a post on their social media platforms. "Signing with a record label wasn’t something we originally set out to do. It’s also not something that we rushed into doing."

Since the release of their 2022 debut, Moment of Truth, the 'Wondering Why' stars have become well-loved among listeners. With appearances at major festivals, as well as acting as support for some pretty notable stars for much of 2023, the band's acclaim has only soared.

"Over the last 6 months, it has become very clear to us that we’re going to need all the help we can get in keeping up with our rapidly growing demand while also reaching new fans all over the world," the band noted, adding, "After many meetings and much praying, we all truly feel that RCA is the best choice for us!"

Alongside RCA, the Red Clay Strays are poised for their biggest year yet. However, they took a moment in their address to look back at how far they've come. In their post, they acknowledge their success thus far would not have been possible without the support of their fans along the way.

"We can’t thank y’all enough for the love and support you’ve shown us over these last seven years," they wrote in closing. "We wouldn’t have made it this far without y’all. We’re excited to see what the future holds!"

The band is currently in the midst of a headlining trek, dubbed the Way Too Long Tour, which will see them through the summer.
