Sierra Ferrell will released a deluxe edition of her widely acclaimed 2024 album, Trail Of Flowers, with the alt-country trailblazer making a revamped version of her Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes stand-out, ‘The Garden’, available today (January 3rd).
In addition to Sierra Ferrell's reimagined rendition of ‘The Garden’, Trail Of Flowers: Deluxe Edition will feature one other track, a cover of the beloved bluegrass classic, ‘Don't Let Your Deal Go Down”, which has been recorded by the likes of Charlie Poole & The North Carolina Ramblers, Flatt and Scruggs and numerous others.
Sierra Ferrell has performed ‘Don't Let Your Deal Go Down’ a few times in the past, and fans will undoubtedly be looking forward to hearing the studio version of this retro track.
The ‘Fox Hunt’ singer-songwriter's Trail Of Flowers: Deluxe Edition will arrive on January 31st, 2025, with the expanded version of this project serving as a celebration of all the well-deserved plaudits the original album has enjoyed since it dropped in March.
Trail Of Flowers was heralded as one of the leading project of the year by a variety of commentators, with Holler naming Ferrell's sophomore effort as one of its best albums of 2024.
The record, which has produced fan-favourites such as ’Dollar Bill Bar‘ and ‘I Could Drive You Crazy’, has earned Sierra Ferrell her first Grammy nominations for Best Americana Album, Best Americana Performance (‘American Dreaming’), Best American Roots Song (‘American Dreaming’) and Best American Roots Performance (‘Lighthouse’). The ‘In Dreams’ hitmaker took home the coveted Artist of The Year and Album of The Year gongs at the 2024 Americana Honors & Awards.
In 2025, Sierra Ferrell will consolidate her emergence as one of the most prominent Americana artists in the modern landscape, as she opens up on one of the most highly anticipated tours in the US - Post Malone's Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll.
