As she prepares to kick off her hotly anticipated 2023 world tour, Shania Twain has offered fans a celebratory gift ahead of the new shows.
The Canadian megastar has announced that she'll be releasing a special ‘Royal Edition’ of her new album, Queen Of Me on April 28. The expanded version will feature two brand new songs and a never-heard-before collaboration, the details of which are still under wraps.
The release of Queen Of Me: Royal Edition will coincide with the opening night of Shania's blockbuster 2023 world tour in Spokane, Washington. The upcoming run of shows will take the ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman!’ hitmaker across Canada and the US, before she heads across The Pond for a series of dates in the UK and Ireland.
Although the additional songs on Queen Of Me: Royal Edition are yet to be confirmed, speculation has already begun as to who the featured artist will be. With Shania having collaborated with Kelsea Ballerini and Orville Peck in the past few years, some are wondering whether another joint effort with one of these country artists could be on the cards.
Alternatively, with Shania being the globally renowned artist that she is, a cross-genre collaboration could also be in store, especially given the blend of stylistic influences that featured on the original version of Queen Of Me, which dropped on February 3.
Either way, it's safe to say Shania Twain fans now have another reason to keenly count down the days until April 28.
