“Christened the New Baby with a Little BP”: See Brad Paisley's Hilarious Response to Megan Moroney's Shout-Out

Just in case there was any lingering doubt, Megan Moroney has provided fans with proof of just how much she loves Brad Paisley's music. The ‘Tennessee Orange’ hitmaker has shared a photo of her testing out the speakers on her new car with a little of Paisley's ‘Mud on the Tires’, with the caption, “christened the baby with a little BP”.

Brad Paisley, who has long established himself as having one of the best senses of humour in country music, has offered a hilarious, tongue-in-cheek response, quipping, “Aw @meganmoroney...A 1500lb bundle of joy. Sending you a baby gift”.

It's not the first time these two country chart-toppers have enjoyed an online back-and-forth, with Megan Moroney gushing via X (formerly Twitter) back in January, “no one asked but mud on the tires is my favorite album of all time”, adding, “make a mistake??? somebody knows u now??? little moments? celebrity????? that’s love????????...wherever brad paisley is today i hope he’s having a good day”.

Paisley then playfully replied, “@_megmoroney to answer your question…Sitting in the waiting room at the dentist office for my kids appointment and this made my day”.

We're now doing our best to manifest a star-studded collaboration between Moroney and Paisley, with their respective penchants for witty storytelling sure to produce a stellar duet.

While we keep our fingers crossed for this, Megan Moroney will be treating her fanbase to her long-awaited new single, ‘Six Months Later’, tomorrow (Friday, June 20th). It serves as the follow-up to her galvanising Kenny Chesney collaboration, ‘You Had To Be There’, with both tracks expected to feature on Moroney's third album.
