The Long Road Festival has unveiled its first roster of 2024 performers, with ‘Blue Tacoma’ hitmaker Russell Dickerson set to headline the latest instalment of the much-loved event.
Speaking ahead of the announcement, Dickerson underlined how he was looking forward to making the trip across The Pond again, “Any time I have the chance to tour in the UK, I have the best experience and can’t wait to return. I’m so stoked to not only be returning, but to be headlining the Long Road Festival. It’s gonna be a blast!”
He's joined on the impressive bill by a plethora of big-name acts and fast-emerging artists from across country and Americana, including American Aquarium, Brittney Spencer, Colbie Caillat, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors and Flatland Cavalry.
Neo-traditional trailblazer, Randall King, is another exciting inclusion, with The Long Road Festival 2024 ticket-holders no doubt hoping the Texas singer-songwriter treats them to an array of stand-outs from his newly released album, Into The Neon.
UK fans will be glad to see Wyatt Flores on the line-up too, with the up-and-coming artist quickly establishing himself as one of the future stars of country music. Flores was set to perform at C2C Festival 2024, but had to withdraw for mental health reasons.
Chapel Hart will certainly be welcomed back to Stanford Hall, Leicestershire across the August 23-25 weekend with open arms, after the trio delivered a series of unforgettable performances at last years edition of The Long Road Festival.
Tantalisingly, Chapel Hart teased that audience-members will be able to hear an array of brand new songs during their 2024 Long Road Festival performances, “We are thrilled to be back at the Long Road Festival! The UK has some of the most passionate country fans in the world, and we're counting down the days until we connect with the community and perform some of our new music!”
Attendees will also be able to witness sets throughout the three-day extravaganza from Red Clay Strays, who earned a plethora of new fans earlier in the year through their viral song, ‘Wondering Why’, along with Adeem the Artist, Andrew Combs, Brown Horse, Kristian Bush, S.G. Goodman, Southall, Vincent Neil Emerson, Tiera Kennedy, Rvshvd, Lola Kirke, Meg Mcree, Kaitlin Butts and more.
Baylen Leonard, The Long Road Festival's Creative Director, emphasised how excited he is for the 2024 event, “We couldn’t be happier with how this year’s line-up is shaping up, and can’t wait to welcome this growing community home to The Long Road again this August, after last year’s sell-out. The countdown to TLR 5 begins!”
