Reba McEntire helped to kick off the 2024 Super Bowl with a stirring performance of the National Anthem.
Reba had big shoes to fill, following Chris Stapleton's widely celebrated National Anthem performance last year, but it's safe to say the ‘Fancy’ hitmaker didn't disappoint.
Hearing The Star Spangled Banner is always a hugely emotional moment, but experiencing it in the context of the Super Bowl inevitably dials up the intensity to a whole other level.
Reba McEntire's faultless vocals were on full display, with the Oklahoma singer-songwriter bringing her characteristic stage presence and charisma to the Allegiant Stadium.
Post Malone also treated the packed-out Nevada crowd to a stellar pre-show performance of ‘America The Beautiful’, with both Posty and Reba ensuring country music was well-represented during one of the biggest sporting events on the planet.
The same could certainly be said of the high-profile half-time commercials, which featured hilarious cameos from the likes of Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Post Malone and more.
As Reba concluded her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner with a spine-tingling final note, a fleet of planes soared over the stadium, with “The Brave” still echoing out into the stands.
It set the tone for a magical evening in Paradise, Nevada, which saw the Kansas City Chiefs come from behind to beat the San Francisco 49ers to win their third Super Bowl title in five years.
