Post Malone has uploaded second snippet of his eagerly anticipated Morgan Wallen collaboration, ‘I Had Some Help’, with some fans viewing this as a hint the duo will link up to perform a live debut of the unreleased track at Stagecoach this weekend.
Both artists are on the bill, with Posty delivering his special set of country covers on Saturday evening, before Morgan takes the stage the following night for his headline performance.
The newly shared clip of ‘I Had Some Help’, which is accompanied by another video of Post Malone jamming out to the infectious, uptempo track, hopefully means we're nearing the release date. It was first teased back on December 22 by Morgan, before being promptly deleted soon after. Then Posty uploaded a snippet of the pop-infused anthem in March, with the clip spreading like wildfire across TikTok.
Although the Luke Combs-assisted ‘I Ain't Got A Guy For That’ was the first original country song teased by Post Malone in February, given how popular ‘I Had Some Help’ has become in recent weeks, it feels like Posty has no choice but to drop this first.
Interestingly, Morgan Wallen took to the comments on Post Malone's latest Instagram teaser video to write, “See u this weekend bub !!”, a nod to their Stagecoach sets. While this could simply be Morgan looking forward to hanging out with his good buddy and collaborator at the festival, some fans have speculated that this is an indicator the two artists will join forces on-stage in Indio, California.
This moment could either arrive during Posty's Saturday performance or Morgan's headline set the following evening, and with these being two of the biggest stars in modern music - across all genres - it's safe to say this would be a seismic, blockbuster way to officially announce the new single, ‘I Had Some Help’.
Other artists we reckon could join Post Malone during his first ever full country set at Stagecoach include ERNEST and HARDY, with Posty having collaborated with both while in Nashville as he continues to hone his hotly anticipated debut country album.
