Overnight sensation Oliver Anthony has had a whirlwind year in 2023, and he's capping it all off with the announcement of his debut headlining tour.
Anthony's Out of the Woods trek will take the 'Rich Men North of Richmond' singer throughout the UK and Europe before he sets course for the eastern half of the US.
Kicking off in Stockholm on Feb. 1, the international portion of his touring odyssey will take him to Oslo, Glasgow, Manchester, London and more before closing up shop in Dublin on Feb. 13.
Coming back stateside, the West Virginia native will play a pair of shows at Nashville's iconic Ryman Auditorium before hitting cities in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, Kentucky, New York and more.
The Out of the Woods trek, which has not yet confirmed any supporting acts, will keep the tunesmith booked and busy through September 13, where he'll end in Allegan, Michigan.
Throughout the year, the viral singer-songwriter has also been tapped on a handful of festival bills, including CMC Rocks 2024, Rock the South, Bash on the Bay and more.
Earlier this fall, Anthony made history as the first artist to debut a song at No. 1 with no prior chart history. By extension, his song ‘Rich Men North of Richmond’ became the first song by a solo male artist to peak on both the Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs simultaneously in its debut week.
The song gained much of its attention due to its politically charged rhetoric, which addresses low wages, taxation, inflation, welfare abuse, food poverty, child trafficking, selfish politicians and other hot-button issues and political talking points.
Since the song's swift rise to the top of the charts and into the common vernacular, Anthony has gone on to perform at a handful of events, including at the Tootsie's Orchid Lounge annual Birthday Bash in Nashville in September.
