After a flurry of speculation, Noah Kahan has officially announced he will be releasing a live album to celebrate his dream two-night stint at Boston's Fenway Park this past July.
"Every day I think about playing fenway," the artist reminisced on social media. "I can’t even look at photos without crying. It is a permanent part of my soul, and im so proud to announce it will be a permanent part of my discography."
He explained Live From Fenway Park will drop Friday, Aug. 30 before signing off "New England, I love you."
Just ahead of the news, the 'Stick Season' star shared a snippet of his unreleased song, ‘Pain is Cold Water’, recorded during the Fenway Park showcase.
The impending tune has been previewed during a number of tour stops on his lengthy We'll All Be Here Forever tour, but it made for an extra special display under a spotlight that means so much to the New Englander.
The set of ballpark performances made for a striking celebration of Kahan's music and his impressive rise to stardom over the last few years, a showcase that saw the Vermont singer-songwriter-turned-world superstar filled with joy, pride and likely disbelief. There to celebrate alongside him were fellow-hitmakers Gracie Abrams, The Lumineers, James Bay and Mt. Joy, as well as several members of his family.
Soon, those two nights – all the tears and the cheers – will be immortalized in Live From Fenway Park.
