According to a since-deleted report, Noah Kahan is rumoured to be plotting a blockbuster stadium tour for the summer of 2027. The seemingly leaked information comes as Kahan prepares to release his long-awaited new single, ‘The Great Divide’.

In a HITS Daily Double article written by Karen Glauber, the HITS president reveals she's had an early listen to ‘The Great Divide’, “Speaking of influential acts, I just heard the new Noah Kahan single, ‘The Great Divide’, which will be out on Jan. 30”.

Glauber goes on to casually reveal that the ‘Stick Season’ hitmaker is returning to the road in 2027, “Amanda, Ayelet and Allison played it for me - I loved it so much, and Noah is doing a stadium tour next summer, similar to The Lumineers’ trek last year”.

The portion of the article that mentions the supposed 2027 stadium tour has since been removed, with Kahan's team presumably asking Glauber to remove the leaked information.

Of course, it's worth underlining again that there hasn't been any official tour announcement as of yet, and this could all be speculation. But Glauber is a highly respected figure in the music world, and it certainly seems like she's been given a heads-up about a Noah Kahan tour next year, before accidentally dropping the news early.

If it is moulded on The Lumineers’ 2025 Automatic World Tour, this could mean Kahan will be hitting expansive venues such as Soldier Field in Chicago and Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, as well as bringing his arsenal of vulnerable earworms across The Pond. The Lumineers played the O2 Arena last year, but given Kahan's star-power and the fact that he sold out BST Hyde Park 2025 - welcoming around 65,000 fans - we reckon he will surely have his sights set on Wembley.

The Vermont native's fanbase have been sent into a frenzy, particularly given the fact that Kahan teased that the announcements would be coming thick and fast after ‘The Great Divide’ drops on Friday, January 30th. In a video message shared across socials, the ‘She Calls Me Back’ singer-songwriter playfully hints, “I do want to warn you - once this song comes out, it's gonna start coming fast. Things are going to start happening very quickly. It might be hard to hold on”.

He goes on, “But I want you guys to know there's lots of music coming out - and more than you probably even think - and there's lots of things that are going to happen. And if I couldn't be vaguer, let me try: lots of things are going to occur in a timeframe yet to be announced that'll include music in all of its forms...and I think I've dropped enough information right there to really lead you onto something”.

The “music in all of its forms” comment led us and numerous other fans to predict that he was referring to a tour. What's more, Kahan concluded the clip by stating, “I will see you on the 28th”. After initially wondering if Kahan had simply made a mistake, and meant to say the 30th, which is ‘The Great Divide’ release date, we started to think that the ‘Orange Juice’ crooner was dropping another easter egg.

As a result, many believe Kahan is gearing up to announce a major tour tomorrow (Wednesday, January 28th), as well as potentially unveiling his new studio album, too.

Lastly, although some fans might be disappointed to hear that Kahan is plotting a run of shows for 2027, which could mean he's taking 2026 off from touring, let's not forget that the folk trailblazer has spent the majority of the past four years on the road promoting his wildly successful Stick Season era. He has repeatedly joked that he's be performing so much that he barely had time to record his new album.

So we think that, if Kahan is indeed stepping away from touring for a few months, it's definitely a well-earned rest. Plus, it sounds like we'll have plenty of stellar new music to keep us entertained in the meantime - starting with ‘The Great Divide’ on Friday.
