Noah Kahan has broken through the Billboard Hot 100 Chart’s top 10 for the first time with his breakout hit, ‘Stick Season’.
The career-defining tune has been steadily climbing the Hot 100 since it's debut in October, spending the last 20 consecutive weeks on the chart.
At the time of reporting, Kahan has five songs in the Hot 100, including ‘Stick Season’, ‘Forever’, ‘Northern Attitude’ alongside fellow folk behemoth Hozier, ‘You’re Gonna Go Far’ with Brandi Carlile and ‘She Calls Me Back’ featuring country darling Kacey Musgraves.
‘Stick Season’ was first released on July 8, 2022 alongside the parent album of the same name. The album received a wave of momentum by July of 2023 after the release of the reimagined ‘Dial Drunk’ with rap prodigy Post Malone.
Five more collaborative songs were released following the ‘Dial Drunk’ revamp, bringing the album and Kahan to a throng of new listeners from across different genres.
Last week, Kahan was the number one songwriter on Billboard's Hot 100 Songwriters chart. However, he's since fallen to the second position, relinquishing the top spot to Tracy Chapman, who has spent 45 weeks on the chart thanks to Luke Combs' history-making cover of her beloved song, 'Fast Car'.
Kahan is currently in the midst of the European leg of his We'll All Be Here Forever Tour, a globe-trotting trek that will see him take on arenas and major festivals throughout most of the year.
