It looks like we have a new favourite trio on our hands.

Following the release of Kacey Musgraves' and Noah Kahan's new duets with Zach Bryan these past couple months, the pair have now announced their own collaboration, in the form of a new version of Kahan's 'She Calls Me Back'.

Two days ago (10/1), Kahan shared a short teaser in the form of a live tour reel on TikTok. His fans were quick to place Musgraves' voice on this new recording, prompting excitement amongst both their fanbases that a special reimagining of the Stick Season track was on the way.

Now, the release has been confirmed, with Kahan sharing that the new recording featuring the 'Slow Burn' singer would be released this Friday (10/6).

Announcing across social media, a trailer plays the sound of a phone call reaching an answering machine, with what appears to be Musgraves' voice stating; "Hi, you have reached the voicemail box of Kacey Musgraves and Noah Kahan. We'll call you back on October 6th".

As mentioned, it's certainly not the only collaborations that either Kahan or Musgraves have released this year.

Kahan has already reimagined other songs from his beloved 2022 record Stick Season, with the affably dubbed 'Folk Malone' releasing a new version of 'Dial Drunk' with the man himself, Post Malone, in July.

Following that co-sign, Kahan most recently jumped in the studio with Zach Bryan to record their instant smash hit, 'Sarah's Place'. Taken from Bryan's surprise September EP drop Boys of Faith, it's become an immediate fan-favourite, with the duo performing it together at this year's Pilgrimage Festival on the weekend of its release.

Kacey Musgraves had been comparatively quiet to Kahan this year. That was until the release of 'I Remember Everything', the smash hit duet between her and Bryan. The song hit the top of the charts in it's first week, sealing both of the singer-songwriter's first No.1s on the Billboard All Genre Hot 100.

The release is another cherry on top of what's been a record year for Kahan. In September, he announced his 2024 North American Tour, including two headline nights at Madison Square Garden in New York. The tour essentially all but sold out instantly, with very few tickets remaining across all the dates.
