After the controversial, long-running saga that kicked off in April 2024, Morgan Wallen's This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen on Nashville's Broadway strip finally has a sign in place.
Earlier in December, the Nashville Council approved Morgan Wallen and the TC Restaurant Group's second proposal for a large neon sign, measuring approximately 240 inches x 60 inches, to be installed outside This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen.
It follows the council's high-profile decision to block the proposal back in May, with various council-members speaking out against Morgan Wallen's behaviour after he was arrested for throwing a chair off the rooftop at Eric Church's Chief's Bar a few weeks prior.
The timing feels pertinent, as his This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen sign proposal was approved just days after the Sneedville megastar received his sentence for the chair-throwing incident.
Now, the long-awaited This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen sign has been installed, reading ‘Morgan Wallen's This Bar’, making the building much more visible from the main Broadway strip.
The bar's official Instagram account has shared a behind-the-scenes video of the impressive sign being put up, alongside a reference to the fan-favourite Morgan Wallen song that inspired its name, ‘In case y’all needed help finding yourselves in This Bar’.
Morgan Wallen's This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen, which is located next to the famous Ryman Auditorium, is currently gearing up for its first ’Neon Star’ New Year's Eve celebration, which is set to include complimentary food, multi-floor live entertainment and more.
