Meanwhile in Vegas...
During his second Nevada tour-stop, Morgan Wallen reminded everyone that, when you're in Sin City, you never really know what bizarre twist or A-list surprise is around the corner.
For his now-iconic pre-show walkout, the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper was joined by former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson and NFL superstar Tom Brady, with the three striding towards the stage ahead of Morgan Wallen's hit-filled performance. For most of the show, Morgan donned Maxx Crosby's No. 98 Las Vegas Raiders Jersey.
They're the latest in a string of high-profile guests that have emerged for the Sneedville singer-songwriter's walkout, which is soundtracked by his fiery Lil Durk and Moneybagg Yo collaborations, ‘Broadway Girls’ and ‘WHISKEY WHISKEY’ respectively.
At the start of August, Morgan Wallen walked out alongside a trio of 2024 Super Bowl victors, Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones. The previous night, Morgan was joined by country duo, Brooks & Dunn for his walkout.
Morgan Wallen's Vegas double-header served as his final two US tour-stops of the summer, with the ‘Thought You Should Know’ crooner taking a couple of weeks off from his One Night At A Time run before kicking off his European leg later this month.
With Morgan Wallen not performing again until August 28th, fans are hoping he'll be taking the opportunity to return to the studio to hone his keenly awaited next album.
Morgan Wallen continues to tease new music, with the country trailblazer taking to socials just a few days ago to share a snippet of a heartbreaking, intricate track seemingly called ‘Good to See You Smile’. The ballad explores a more vulnerable tone, and follows in a similarly stripped-back vein to his latest single, ’Lies, Lies, Lies’.
With ‘Good to See You Smile’ joining ‘Love Somebody’, ‘I Guess’ and ‘Come Back as a Redneck’ on Morgan Wallen's growing list of recently teased unreleased tracks, we're hoping Morgan might drop one before he resumes his tour across the Atlantic. Some suspect he's gearing up for an album announcement at his momentous homecoming shows at Knoxville's Neyland Stadium in September.
