Just days before the release of his highly-anticipated fourth record, I'm the Problem, Morgan Wallen has gifted fans with a preview of what we can expect from the 37-sing album.

Hosting a series of listening parties at his Nashville multi-hyphenate establishment, Morgan Wallen's This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen, the record-breaking entertainer shared a handful of never-before-heard songs, as well as shared some of the stories of how they came to be.

The Sneedville hitmaker's fourth studio album arrives on Friday, May 16th, 2025.

In addition to gushing about standout tracks like his 2025 Keith Whitley interpolation on 'Miami,' his first-ever female collaboration with pop icon Tate McRae on 'What I Want,' the Eric Church-graced 'No. 3 and No. 7' and more, Wallen also formally introduced his long-teased HARDY collab, 'Come Back As A Redneck.'

Confirming the speculation that HARDY had a hand in penning the high-octane tune, Wallen shared, "We took a few writing trips for this album. All of them were extremely successful, so it's something I'm probably going to continue doing.

"It's just nice to get away to wherever and strictly focus on songwriting without any of the distractions from being at home or being with other people," he explained. "It was just songwriters all in a house together, spending a majority of our time working on the album and getting on a jet ski or something in between."

Turning his attention to 'Come Back As A Redneck,' Wallen offered, "That was HARDY's idea... I think people just get the wrong idea about what a redneck is or at least what we're thinking of when we say redneck. We kind of just wanted to put a little paint behind that and let them know what we thought when people look down on us for being country or being this way. [We wanted to put] a big sense of pride on on who we are.

"I'm really, really fired up for that song!"

First teased back in March 2024, ‘Come Back As A Redneck’ takes shape as a country-leaning ode to the southern way of life, with an electric-guitar-fuelled feel and bursting with southern pride.

This isn't the first time HARDY and Morgan Wallen have joined forces, whether in the studio or the writing room, and you'd be silly to think that it will be the last. Two of the Nashville songwriting communities golden boys, 'Come Back As A Redneck' simply serves as the newest in their string of certified bangers.

The country titan is currently gearing up to drop his long-awaited fourth studio album, I'm the Problem, which coincides with the opening day of his inaugural Sand in My Boots Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

For the partial lyrics to Morgan Wallen & HARDY's 'Come Back As A Redheck,' see below:

Hey Mr. City Man, Rollie on your wrist, NASDAQ in your hand
Rolling your eyes at my beat-up truck
Feed in the back, spittin’ into my cup
Both our tacks say Tennessee
I don't know you, you don't know me
If this red light didn't have to change
I'd have time to say

When you die I hope you come back as a redneck
I hope it sticks on you like that hell-hot sun tattoo
I hope you break your back for that barely-get-by pay-check
And when you can't you've gotta go bloody up a buck or two
Catch the Holy Ghost on a pinewood bench
Drive across the county just to hook up a winch
Revel in the pride of a simple man
Maybe then you'll understand

I didn't choose my raisin’ and you didn't choose your
You work in four walls, and I'm workin’ four by fours
We ain't as different as you think we is
But I didn't pull up sayin’, "Won't you look at that born-rich, fed with a silver-spoon trust-fund kid," like you did
