Miranda Lambert has taken to Instagram to offer a heartfelt tribute to her friend and collaborator, Ella Langley, following the announcement of the latter's brand new album, Dandelion.

Lambert serves as a producer on the record, alongside Langley and Ben West, with the ‘Tequila Does’ hitmaker also a co-writer on Langley's smash hit single, ‘Choosin’ Texas’. The infectious, Lone Star-inspired anthem appears on the forthcoming album.

It's not the first time the duo have joined forces, with Langley teaming up with Lambert during the 2025 ACM Awards for a live-wire performance of the latter's iconic track, ‘Kerosene’. Langley also shares Lambert's love of dogs, and is a frequent supporter of the ‘Bluebird’ crooner's MuttNation charity, which promotes dog adoption, as well as educating people about the benefits of spay and neuter.

Alongside the Dandelion cover art, which features Langley gazing up hopefully amid swathes of flowers, Lambert has underlined how much she values the time they spend together.

Lambert gushes, “Thank you Ella for “Choosin Texas” to help you produce this amazing record. It’s been an honor working with you and Ben. I cherish your friendship sister”.

The Texas legend goes on to pay homage to Langley's ability to flourish under the relentless glare of the spotlight, “You are a Dandelion and I can’t wait for the world to hear this”.

As she explained as part of the initial unveiling earlier in the week, Langley chose the Dandelion theme because of the flower's often overlooked capacity to withstand gruelling surroundings, “Dandelions are masters of survival, thriving in even the harshest environments. Often dismissed as a common weed, this unassuming plant carries a deeper symbolism of hope, healing and resilience. This next record to me has so much growth in it. I feel the most myself I've ever felt”.

The ‘you look like you love me’ singer-songwriter went on, “I want you to dance, I want you to sing, I want you to be able to relate to these words in a way where you don't feel alone in your thoughts. I want you to not even worry about anything and daydream and listen to these songs. I want you to enjoy them with your friends and family, and I've thought about this record every single day for the last year and a half. And I'm so excited to finally say, ‘Welcome to Dandelion’”.

With the title-track arriving on Friday, January 29th, the anticipation remains sky-high ahead of Langley's forthcoming album. We're keeping our fingers crossed that, when the official tracklist is unveiled, there's at least one duet with Lambert on there...
