Miranda Lambert and Elle King have shared a brand new duet, ‘Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)’.
Rumours about the collaboration began to surface on social media on Monday (22/2) when Lambert posted a photo of the two of them leaning up against a car.
In the 80’s-influenced shot, King is wearing a puffy wedding dress and smoking a cigarette, whilst Lambert is wearing a coral bridesmaid dress.
The fast-paced anthem fuses pop and country, with a drum machine and banjo dominating the chorus as the pair sing about a fun night out.
Both artists have shared clips of the song in the run up to its release, alongside video’s of them in the studio together.
This is not the first time Lambert and King have collaborated; King was a part of Lambert’s all female version of ‘Fooled Around And Fell In Love’ alongside Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes and Caylee Hammack.
Lambert also took the full cast of that song out on tour with her in 2019 for her ‘Roadside Bars And Pink Guitars’ tour.
An official music video for ‘Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)’ drops later today ( 26/2).
