Megan Moroney is sharing bits of what appears to be another unreleased country anthem, continuing to scatter teasers like breadcrumbs for fans.
The 'Tennessee Orange' star recently took to social media to share a snippet of a new song, giving eager admirers a taste of a hearty twang-filled arrangement. Alongside the instrumental recording are what we assume to be lyrics to a tune, titled 'I’ll Be Fine'.
"i’ll be fine if i can get through tonight," reads the post's caption. "if i can get past this dark & make it to daylight / with this bottle of wine & my feelings on ice / i’ll be fine / i’ll be fine / i’ll be fine."
Very little information accompanied the post. However, this teaser is not the first from the hitmaker since she released her long-awaited sophomore album, Am I Okay?, in July. Earlier this month, she shared a brief snippet of another unnamed recording.
Few details accompanied that post save a caption that read: "sooooo yeah the third time was in fact not the charm." Many assume this is likely a reference to the artist's Am I Okay? offering, 'Third Time's the Charm', leading to speculation over whether or not a deluxe edition could be in our future.
If one is on the horizon, 'I’ll Be Fine' could very well be a response to the album's titular question – maybe the star is not, in fact, okay, but maybe she will be – or perhaps a continuation of one of the record's many heartbroken hits.
An extended release of Am I Okay? is not out of the realm of possibility, seeing as her 2023 debut album, Lucky, received a deluxe treatment just a few months after its arrival.
While nothing has yet been announced confirming or denying an extended release, the star seems set to jet off on her upcoming Am I Okay? tour with even more new music in hand.
