After treating us to her stellar new single last week, ‘6 Months Later’, Megan Moroney has taken to X to hint that her highly anticipated third album might be on the horizon.
The Georgia native has been teasing new music for months now, with Moroney confirming in recent interviews that she's already decided on the colour theme for her next chapter.
Judging by the artwork and promotional images for ‘6 Months Later’, we suspect it's either going to be yellow or purple, with Moroney keeping fans on their toes for now.
Thankfully, though, it looks like we won't have to wait too much longer before getting to hear the ‘Tennessee Orange’ hitmaker's keenly awaited Am I Okay? follow-up, with Megan Moroney offering a tongue-in-cheek update via X, “wait i think the album is written”.
Alongside the playful, uptempo ‘6 Months Later’, Moroney's forthcoming project is set to include her already-released Kenny Chesney collaboration, ‘You Had To Be There’.
The galvanising duet finds Moroney reflecting on an incredible summer spent opening for Chesney on the 2024 Sun Goes Down Tour, underlining how this felt like a full-circle moment, after purchasing nosebleed tickets to his Atlanta show back in 2018.
With Megan Moroney gifting fans an album per year since 2023, we're holding out hope that the ‘Indifferent’ singer-songwriter continues that run with another project in 2025.
