“Never Beating the Elsa & Anna Allegations”: Megan Moroney and Laci Kaye Booth Join Forces During ‘Am I Okay?’ Tour

Megan Moroney and Laci Kaye Booth teamed up during the former's recent tour-stop in Cleveland, Ohio to deliver a celebratory, confetti-filled rendition of the former's ‘Am I Okay?’

Their performance was filled with the playful, feel-good ambience that permeates the ’Tennessee Orange’ hitmaker's studio version, with their joint take leaving fans hoping it's not the last time we see these two artists combining on-stage.

In a post shared after the momentous link-up, Laci Kaye Booth gushed, “A weekend with @megmoroney fans is good for the soul”, with Megan Moroney taking to the comments to joke that the duo bear a resemblance to the two protagonists in Frozen.

Moroney quipped, “Never beating the Elsa & Anna allegations”, referencing how Elsa is also blonde and always wears blue, while Anna - like Booth - has auburn hair in the Disney film.

Alongside a video of their jubilant ‘Am I Okay?’ performance, Laci Kaye Booth paid tribute to Megan Moroney and expressed her gratitude at being chosen as the support act, “What a moment!!! With the emo cowgirl herself. Thanks for letting me open, Meg”.

Unfortunately, the ‘George F****** Strait’ crooner is not due to open for Megan Moroney on any of her forthcoming Am I Okay? Tour-dates, but we're keeping our fingers crossed the two country prodigies decide to join forces for a duet in the near future.

Moroney is currently gearing up to release her long-awaited new single, ‘Six Months Later’, on Friday (June 20th), with the infectious track serving as the follow-up to her much-loved Kenny Chesney collaboration, ‘You Had To Be There’. Both are expected to feature on the 2024 CMA New Artist of the Year's third studio album.
