Banquet Records has revealed that Lainey Wilson will be performing in the UK on March 18th 2025, as part of a special Whirlwind album celebration show at Kingston's Pryzm venue.
Given the fact that this will take place just a couple of days after C2C Festival 2025, which is scheduled for March 14-16th, some are speculating that this unexpected, low-key Banquet Records announcement might be a hint that Lainey is playing C2C.
It would certainly be strange for Lainey Wilson to be in the UK around that time and not be playing C2C Festival at London's O2 Arena. Given the fact that the Louisiana hitmaker is now one of the biggest names in modern country music, if she is on the 2025 C2C festival bill, we would undoubtedly expect her to be a headliner at the very least.
The last time Lainey Wilson performed at C2C Festival was in 2023, with the ‘Country's Cool Again’ singer-songwriter third on the billing, beneath Thomas Rhett and Jordan Davis.
Lainey has since been back across The Pond as part of her popular 2024 Country's Cool Again tour, during which she performed a series of shows across the UK, including two electrifying, sold-out sets at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London.
Lainey Wilson continues to enjoy a special bond with her fans on the other side of the Atlantic, with an array of album listening parties lined up across the UK this Friday (August 16th), to mark the release of Lainey's highly anticipated new record, Whirlwind.
The project will feature already released singles, ‘Country's Cool Again’, ‘Hang Tight Honey’, ‘4X4XU’ and ‘Good Horses’ with Miranda Lambert, along with a range of never-heard-before tracks, such as ‘Ring Finger’, ’Call a Cowboy’ and ’Counting Chickens’.
