Lainey Wilson has been unveiled as a 2023 Lollapalooza performer, with the immensely popular Chicago festival also confirming Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey and The 1975 as playing.

Joining them will be Fred Again, Lil Yachty, Maggie Rogers, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Odesza, Tom Odell, Karol G, Tomorrow X Together, Carly Rae Jepsen and more.

Lainey Wilson's involvement in Lollapalooza 2023 is a big win for country music as a whole, with Lainey emerging as one of the genre's biggest stars over the past six months.

Ticket-holders for Lollapalooza 2023 will be serenaded with anthems such as ‘Heart Like A Truck’, ‘Live Off’ and ‘Road Runner’, all of which are taken from Lainey's acclaimed 2022 album, Bell Bottom Country.

Lainey's unveiling as part of the new line-up for Lollapalooza comes swiftly after her eye-catching performances at C2C Festival 2023 in the UK and Ireland.

Despite recently losing her voice, the Bell Bottom Country star delivered a breathtaking set at London's O2 Arena.

When Lainey Wilson takes the Lollapalooza stage on August 3-6, she may well have a few more accolades under her belt, with the ‘Things A Man Oughta Know’ hitmaker being nominated for more 2023 CMT Awards than any other artist.

Representing the esteemed country music contingent alongside Lainey Wilson will be the likes of Morgan Wade, Ingrid Andress, Pony Bradshaw and Madeline Edwards.

Like Lainey, Edwards also impressed audiences during C2C Festival, and Lollapalooza 2023 attendees will undoubtedly be in for an electrifying show when she takes the stage in August.

The 2022 Lollapalooza crowds were treated to an unforgettable set from Zach Bryan, along with show-stopping performances from Dua Lipa, J. Cole, Doja Cat, Metallica, Big Sean, Willow and more.

By the looks of the 2023 line-up, this year's instalment will be another must-see event, particularly for listeners with an eclectic, genre-spanning music taste.
